Five Element Acupuncture

About Jan Ruscio, L.Ac

Jan Ruscio Five Elements Highlands Ranch Colorado

My interest in good health started thirty years ago through the study and practice of yoga. The positive impact of yoga on my life led me to explore the other ancient healing arts. I chose to specialize in Five Element Acupuncture, a style of acupuncture that focuses on the health of the whole person on all levels, including the spiritual, rather than just the symptoms of ill health. The Five Elements philosophy exists in some form in many ancient cultures, including pre-Socratic Greece, China, and India; these powerful traditions have benefited untold numbers of people over the years.

I grew up in Denver, Colorado and graduated in 2002 from the Institute of Education and Acupuncture, a preeminent teaching institution for Five Element Acupuncture, where I had the privilege of studying with master acupuncturist J. R. Worsley. My nearly three decades of yoga practice and over twelve years in the practice of acupuncture give me depth and breadth of experience and understanding of the needs of the whole person, assisting in the integration of life's lessons and challenges and producing greater joy, grace, ease, and vitality for my patients.

I treat patients in my office in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, conveniently located near C-470 and Broadway.

Please inquire about other locations in the Denver Metro area as I do see clients throughout the region. Please see the contact page for a map to my office.
